The year is already half over, but there are still plenty of medtech events to look forward to in the second half. The top conferences remaining in 2025 cover topics ranging from surgical robotics and radiology to the latest research in spinal and cardiac care.
AdvaMed’s medtech conference, one of the industry’s biggest events, will take place in October in San Diego. Meanwhile, the Society of Robotic Surgery’s annual meeting will be held in July in France, followed by yearly events from HLTH, the American Society for Radiation Oncology and the American Heart Association.

J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference

The J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference is one of the industry’s biggest events. Executives from medical device, hospital and pharmaceutical companies provide insights on their recent financial performance and developments to watch in the year ahead.
American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons
March 10-14
San Diego Convention Center, San Diego
The AAOS annual meeting brings together orthopedic professionals from around the world to attend sessions, lectures, courses and workshops focused on multiple specialties, including spine, hip and knee reconstruction, trauma and sports medicine. Attendees can learn about the latest in clinical, scientific and surgical technology expertise.
DeviceTalks Boston

DeviceTalks Boston connects people across the medtech industry for a two-day event focused on all things medical devices. Speakers at this year’s event include Charisse Sparks, chief medical officer of Inspire Medical Systems; Julie Cole, Medtronic’s senior director of enterprise accounts and ambulatory surgery center strategy; and Steve Bell, CMR Surgical’s former chief commercial officer.
American Diabetes Association’s 85th Scientific Sessions

The ADA’s 85th Scientific Sessions will unveil the latest research in the diabetes space. Companies and researchers will present abstracts on clinical trials covering a variety of topics that affect people with diabetes. Past sessions have included new data on devices like continuous glucose monitors and insulin pumps.
Society of Robotic Surgery Annual Meeting
July 16-20
IRCAD training center and the Palais de Congres, Strasbourg, France
The SRS is a group of healthcare professionals focused on topics related to robotic surgery, one of the medical device industry's fastest-growing spaces. Companies focused on soft tissue and orthopedic robotic procedures are represented on the society’s industry advisory board, including Intuitive Surgical, Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic and Stryker.
This year’s meeting will cover cardiac, urology and thoracic topics, as well as sessions on artificial intelligence in robotic surgery.
ASTRO 2025
Sept. 27-Oct. 1
Moscone Center, San Francisco
ASTRO is a radiation oncology society with more than 10,000 members representing numerous roles in healthcare, such as physicians, nurses, biologists and radiation therapists. This year’s schedule includes sessions on breast cancer, health policy, pediatric cancer, radiation and cancer biology, and radiation and cancer physics.
AdvaMed’s The Medtech Conference

The MedTech Conference is one of the medical device industry’s most prominent meetings, bringing together industry representatives, researchers and regulators. Various facets of the industry are represented in conference sessions and events, including medical devices, diagnostics, imaging and digital technologies.

The Venetian Expo Center, Las Vegas
HLTH’s U.S. event attracts investors, providers, payers, regulators, startups and people from consumer tech and wellness, among others. Focus areas for this year’s event include AI and emerging technology, diagnostics, women’s health, and investors and start-ups.

The Cardiovascular Research Foundation’s annual scientific meeting specializes in interventional cardiovascular medicine. The symposium includes late-breaking clinical trials, live case demonstrations and insights from industry representatives.
American Heart Association’s Scientific Sessions

Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, New Orleans
AHA’s 2025 scientific sessions will include the latest research and developments in cardiology, including medical devices to treat cardiac conditions. Nearly 13,000 people attended the 2024 event, including more than 10,000 professionals from general cardiology, electrophysiology and other specialties.
North American Spine Society

Denver
NASS 2025 will offer multiple educational events for specialists in spinal care. The conference showcases new research and innovative technologies, as well as expert speakers and sessions on a wide range of topics.
Radiological Society of North America Annual Meeting
Nov. 30-Dec. 4

RSNA’s annual meeting will be one of the final events of 2025 for the medical device industry. The society, representing radiological specialists in more than 150 countries, will host courses, scientific sessions, industry presentations and product demonstrations covering radiological subspecialties.
Plenary speakers this year include Umar Mahmood, Geoffrey Ginsburg and Zeynep Tufekci. Their sessions will focus on the “future of precision medicine and its pivotal role in tailoring imaging and treatments to the unique biological and clinical characteristics of the individual patient.”
