The 2027 slate of medtech conferences is already filling up, with key meetings in San Francisco, Las Vegas and Rome. Representatives from top companies, industry professionals and regulators will be coming from around the world to listen in and learn about topics ranging from artificial intelligence and surgical robotics to cardiac care and diabetes technology.
The year kicks off, as it always does, with the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference in San Francisco. The event will provide attendees with a glimpse into the biggest companies in the industry at the beginning of the year, where they’ll recap 2026 and look ahead to 2027. The schedule will then turn to Las Vegas and Boston, where the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and DeviceTalks Boston will host their annual meetings.
AdvaMed’s The Medtech Conference, one of the biggest events of the year for the medtech industry, will take place in San Francisco in October. Some of the top companies from the medical device industry will be in attendance and present throughout the three days, and there will be an exhibit hall showcasing the latest technologies in the space.
Other notable events include the American Diabetes Association’s Scientific Sessions, HLTH USA 2027 and the American Heart Association’s Scientific Sessions.

Companies from across the industry present at the meeting, providing insight into how their businesses are performing. Top executives from medical device firms could offer a look into how companies closed out the year, and what they think about the future.
American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons

The AAOS is one of the top organizations in the orthopedic industry. Healthcare professionals will attend AAOS’s annual meeting to participate in sessions and workshops on a wide variety of topics focused on the latest breakthroughs in orthopedics. Previous topics have included spine, hip and knee reconstruction, trauma and sports medicine.

DeviceTalks Boston will connect people across the medical device industry for a two-day event focused on a range of topics affecting the medtech industry, including product design, manufacturing, company building, financing and others. Last year’s keynote speakers included executives and business leaders from Insulet, Philips and Johnson & Johnson’s medical device business.
American Diabetes Association's 2027 Scientific Sessions

Society of Robotic Surgery Annual Meeting

The SRS is one of the leading groups focused on surgical robotics in the world. Its annual meeting will hold sessions on the latest developments in a fast-growing space. Last year’s conference drew 3,500 attendees from around the world, including representatives from the Food and Drug Administration and the World Health Organization. Topics covered by panels and sessions included AI, medical robots and digital surgery.
ASTRO 2027

ASTRO is a top radiation oncology society with more than 11,000 members and representing healthcare professionals across a range of specialties, including physicians, nurses, biologists and radiation therapists, among others who specialize in treating patients with radiation therapies. The event will include sessions on the latest topics in the radiation oncology field, as well as poster and abstract presentations. Last year’s keynote speakers included Dr. Scott Gottlieb, former commissioner of the FDA.
North American Spine Society Annual Meeting

NASS is a leading group for spine professionals that has been around for more than 40 years. The group's annual meeting will provide attendees with educational opportunities focused specifically on the speciality of spine care. The 2026 meeting schedule includes sessions on a wide range of spinal topics, as well as abstract presentations and symposiums.
AdvaMed's The Medtech Conference

AdvaMed’s medtech conference is one of the biggest medical device events of the year. Representatives from leading companies in the space will come to San Francisco next year to participate in events about the industry’s most important topics. The conference includes events like the CEOs Unplugged series, where leaders from top companies provide their insights on key issues facing the industry.
HLTH USA 2027

Leaders from across the healthcare ecosystem come every year to attend HLTH’s U.S. event. The list of attendees includes regulators, investors, payers, providers and startups, as well as people from pharma, life sciences and health tech. The featured topic areas for the 2026 event include AI, emerging technology, diagnostics and startups, among others.

The Cardiovascular Research Foundation’s annual scientific meeting will focus on interventional cardiovascular medicine. To get a sense of what will be in store for 2027, the schedule for the 2026 conference features sessions on late-breaking trials and science, abstract presentations, live case demonstrations, the TCT Medtech Innovation Forum and an exhibit hall of conference attendees.
American Heart Association's 2027 Scientific Sessions

The AHA’s 2027 scientific sessions will feature the latest research in cardiology, including studies on medical devices that are used to treat a variety of cardiac conditions. While the 2026 meeting will not be held until November, nearly 13,000 people attended in 2025, including more than 10,000 professionals from heart failure, interventional cardiology and electrophysiology, among other specialties.
Radiological Society of North America Annual Meeting

The year will close out with RSNA’s annual meeting. The conference will include courses, scientific sessions and product demonstrations covering radiological subspecialties. The 2026 schedule includes educational sessions on cardiac imaging in private practice, the fundamentals of peripheral vascular imaging, AI in emergency radiology and practical AI for radiology, among other subjects.
